Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Emotionally Moisturized (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit emotionallymoisturized.com (the “Site”) or use our guides, courses, tools, and memberships (the “Services”). We keep it as plain as we can.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Account information — such as your name and email address when you create an account or sign in.
- Purchase information — when you buy a membership or product, our payment processor collects your payment details. We receive limited transaction data (e.g., confirmation, subscription status, and the last four digits/card brand), but we do not store full payment card numbers.
- Newsletter and communications — the email address you submit to join our list, and the content of any messages you send us.
- Content you submit to our tools — information you type into interactive tools (for example, a task list or planner input) so the tool can generate a result.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage and device data — such as pages viewed, referring pages, browser and device type, and general interactions with the Site.
- Log and technical data — such as IP address and timestamps, collected by our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure for security and reliability.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Cookies and analytics.
2. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Site and Services;
- Create and manage your account and authenticate sign-ins;
- Process purchases, memberships, renewals, and grant access to paid content;
- Run interactive tools and return their results to you;
- Send transactional messages (receipts, access details, account and billing notices);
- Send marketing emails and updates if you’ve opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime);
- Protect the Site, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Payments
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your card and billing details are provided directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe’s Privacy Policy. We use Stripe’s tools to manage subscriptions and, where applicable, to let you update or cancel through a billing portal. We do not receive or store your full card number.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to run the Site (for example, to keep you signed in) and, where enabled, to understand aggregate usage so we can improve. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works. If we use an analytics provider or add advertising or non-essential tracking, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers who help us run the Services, under contracts that limit their use of your information — including Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (hosting, authentication, and storage), our email/newsletter provider, and, where used, analytics and AI tool providers.
- Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterward as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at emotionally.moisturized@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International visitors
We operate in the United States, and our service providers may process information there and in other countries. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
